CHIMBOTE, Peru, AUG. 30, 2007 (Zenit.org).- Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone told seminarians in Peru that their task is holiness, and that one of the ways to achieve it is by praying the rosary.
The Secretary of State said this Wednesday when visiting an archdiocesan seminary in Peru.
He recommended the rosary saying that, "in praying it, we follow His Holiness Benedict XVI, who recites it with frequency each morning and uses it to contemplate with Mary the face of Christ."
The Salesian cardinal assured the seminarians that he would tell the Pope of their encounter.
