Respectfully Disagree

A response to: Pontiff Tells Why He's Reaching Out to Lefebvrists

With deep and sincere sorrow, I believe the decision by the Holy Father to reinstate the so-called Bishop [Richard] Williamson is wrong. He may not be in a state of heresy but he holds beliefs that can only be called evil and irrational -- first that the Holocaust did not happen, and second that 9/11 was a plot by the U.S. government and an act of mass-murder against its own people.

I appreciate the arguments for allowing such a person to take communion if he has not committed theological heresy, but how can re-instating such a person as a bishop help the Church?
