The Italian site http://www.pretionline.it (priests on line) has two objectives: to give the possibility to be in contact with a priest and to foster exchanges between priests on Internet.

The list of available priests includes experts in the Bible, pastoral care, boy scouts, youth, morals, etc. In addition to some bishops, those available include deacons, religious, and seminarians.

To contact one of them, it is enough to write his name, diocese, or office and his address appears immediately.

Father Giovanni Benvenuto, author of this initiative, explained why he decided to create the service: “Perhaps many people wish to speak with a priest but, for different reasons, they don’t always have the possibility to do so. Here we are, at their disposition!”
