Children's Bible Published in Nepali

KOENIGSTEIN, Germany, MARCH 4, 2004 (Zenit.org).- The international charity Aid to the Church in Need has published a Bible for children in Nepali.

Nepali, the official language in the kingdom of Nepal, is also spoken by several million people in northern India, as well as in the kingdom of Bhutan.

The objective is to distribute 15,000 copies of the book, entitled “God Speaks to His Children.”

The children’s Bible is the international charity’s largest project with more than 40 million copies in 141 languages, distributed to date in 115 countries. Its first edition was presented in 1979.
