A response to: Carmelites Keep Christians in Middle East
Father Abdo is right on the obvious need of Christians to remain not only in Lebanon, but also in the Holy Land and the surrounding countries. Sadly, there are huge barriers to overcome: discrimination and religious intolerance on the part of other faiths are some of the barriers that Christians have to face.
All Christians have a big responsibility to do what they can to ensure that the Christians of the Middle East have access to resources that will enable to maintain a presence in the region that is the birthplace of our faith.
