The DVD shows hundreds of Italian youths preparing for the sacrament of reconciliation.

The disc includes highlights of this year’s feast of Pentecost in which young people of several parishes gathered in Catania, Sicily, with their contemporaries to prepare for confession.

These were the youths who in August 2000 accompanied their contemporaries from around the world who wished to receive the sacrament of forgiveness, in a crowded Circus Maximus of Rome.

The DVD, available in Italian, is an initiative of the groups Fondazione Incendo, and Youths and Reconciliation. It is a “continuation of youths’ good reception of confession during the 2000 Jubilee,” Rita Casali, one of the organizers, told ZENIT.

The DVD includes young people’s visit to a prison for minors, in which they explained to the latter the sacrament of confession. The compact begins with a series of photographs with a background of modern music, which shows youths praying and several priests accompanying them.

Casali said that “it is important that young people spread the desire for reconciliation, so that it is experienced as a great celebration of forgiveness.”
