The faithful are responding to an invitation of the Church in Korea addressed to all the dioceses in preparation for the Day of Prayer for Reconciliation.

In the document of the Committee for the Reconciliation of the Korean People, the bishops appealed to Catholics of the South to pray especially for their brothers in the faith who live in the North.

The committee is organizing a symposium on “The Role of the Catholic Church in the Search for a Solution to the Problem of Refugees in North Korea.”
