The Hospitaller Order of St. John of God announced that on Saturday morning, August 9, Sister Pascaline Chantal died of the ebola virus, according to the Fides agency.

Sister Chantal of the Immaculate Conception was of Congolese nationality.

She had been infected with the ebola virus and was in St. Joseph hospital in Monrovia (capital of Liberia), where she worked as a nurse.
