Pope Francis’ prayer intentions this month focus on peace as well as evangelizing through World Mission Day.
The Pope’s chosen intentions for October were announced by the Apostleship of Prayer.
The Pope’s general intention is “that the Lord may grant peace to those parts of the world most battered by war and violence.”
For his mission intention, the Holy Father prays “That World Mission Day may rekindle in every believer zeal for carrying the Gospel into all the world.”
