Pope Calls on Hungarian Romany Population to be "Apostles Among Your People"

After his Wednesday general audience today, Pope Francis dedicated some words to the Hungarian Romany population who are participating in a national pilgrimage to Rome in these days.
“You have brought with you the cross that was blessed in this square 10 years ago by Blessed John Paul II”, he said. “From Christ's cross, sign of love, mercy and reconciliation, continue to draw the necessary hope and strength to be apostles among your people”.
The Holy Father also extended his customary greetings to the more than 45,000 participants gathered in St. Peter's Square.
Also after the audience, the Pope received in private audience in a side room of the Paul VI Hall Henrique Capriles Radonski, the governor of the state of Miranda, Venezuela.
