Here is the translation of the Holy Father’s telegram to Archbishop Ilario Antoniazzi of Tunisia, regarding the recent terrorist attack in Tunis yesterday.

Archbishop of Tunis

Informed of the tragic terrorist attack that struck the city of Tunis yesterday which left numerous people dead and wounded, His Holiness Pope Francis, reiterating his firm condemnation of all acts against peace and the sacredness of human life, joins in prayers of sorrow with the grieving families, for all those affected by this tragedy, and the whole people of Tunisia. He asks the Lord to receive in His peace the deceased and to comfort those who are seriously injured.

Assuring his consolation, the Pope prays that God bestows on all the abundance of His blessings.
