The Holy Father took the time on Saturday to meet with a group of Polish children suffering from cancer.

Meeting with the children at the Consistory Hall of the Vatican, Pope Francis cordially greeted the young pilgrims, thanking them for their visit and their prayers for the Church.

“You do much good for the Church with your suffering, your inexplicable suffering. But God knows and also with your prayers,” the Pope told them.

Before giving his blessing, the Holy Father greeted each child individually.
