The Pope will be praying this month for Christians engaged in battling the culture.

The Apostleship of Prayer announced the intentions chosen by the Holy Father for the month of May.

His universal prayer intention is: “That, rejecting the culture of indifference, we may care for our neighbors who suffer, especially the sick and the poor.”

His intention for evangelization is: “That Mary’s intercession may help Christians in secularized cultures be open to proclaiming Jesus.”
