The Vatican has released Pope Francis’ schedule of liturgical celebrations for the Christmas season, Dec. 24 – Jan. 6.

Here below is the schedule:

Wednesday, December 24, 2014
FEAST OF THE NATIVITY OF THE LORD
Papal Chapel
Vatican Basilica, at 9:30 p.m.
The Holy Father Francis will celebrate Midnight Mass on the Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord. The Mass will be preceded by the singing of the Kalenda.

Thursday, December 25, 2014
FEAST OF THE NATIVITY OF THE LORD
Central loggia of the Vatican Basilica, 12 noon
The Holy Father Francis will make give his Christmas message to the world and impart the blessing “Urbi et Orbi.”

Wednesday, December 31, 2014
FEAST OF MARY, MOTHER OF GOD
Vatican Basilica, at 5 p.m.
The Holy Father Francis will celebrate the First Vespers of the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, to be followed by the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, the traditional singing of the “Te Deum,” at the end of the calendar year, and the Eucharistic Benediction.

FEAST OF MARY, MOTHER OF GOD
Papal Chapel

Vatican Basilica, at 10 a.m.

The Holy Father Francis will celebrate Mass for the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God in the Octave of Christmas, using the XLVIII World Day of Peace on the theme: “No longer slaves, but brothers.”
