An Act of Solidarity This Lent
Dear ZENIT reader:
We are now in the liturgical season of Lent, the great time of hope that culminates with the resurrection of Christ. As we begin this intense liturgical period, we do so with our sights set on Easter.
Pope Benedict XVI, in his message for Lent this year, invites us to reflect on a part of the Letter to the Hebrews: “We must consider how to rouse one another to love and good works. (Heb. 10:24)
Supporting ZENIT is one way in which to respond to this call, thus enabling us to continue our work of defending the Pope and the Church.
As you know, ZENIT is a news service that we provide free-of-charge to more than 500,000 subscribers, and to countless others through our Web site. Thanks to the generosity of our readers, thousands of missionaries, priests, nuns and laypeople are able to receive news of the Pope and the Church every day.
Have you considered that a gift to ZENIT is also a gift to those who do so much for the Church? Have you considered it to be an act of solidarity.
Many thanks for the help you can give ZENIT this Lent. Every donation, regardless of the quantity, is greatly appreciated!
