Learning from Non-Catholics

Article: Where's the Welcome Wagon?

Daniel Brosky's letter was right to the point. May I add as a Catholic that there are 2 things we can learn from our non-Catholic brethren:

1. Fellowship: Our Catholic parishes should encourage fellowship after each Mass. Most people are busy with their lives during the week, but may find the time to nurture friendship with fellow Catholics who share their values. Young adults will get to meet decent young adults who share their life values, right in the church rather than in a bar.

2. Bible Study: A weekly-run priest-led Bible study would give our parishioners a greater love and practice of the word of God. It can also provide a forum to learn more about Catholic teaching and get to meet like-minded people.
