Article: Pontiff Welcomes Visitationists to Cloister
On behalf of the Visitation Order in the United States, I convey my gratitude for this coverage and article. However we refer to ourselves as Visitandines, not Visitationists.
We'd also like you to know that in 2010 the Visitation Order celebrates the 400th anniversary of its foundation by St. Francis de Sales and St Jane de Chantal.
The Holy Father Pope Benedict 16 has granted a plenary indulgence, with the normal conditions to those who worship with us throughout 2010 in a Monastery Chapel.
