Article: Vatican: Obedience in Church Based on Respect
Although the archbishop addresses his remarks to priestly obedience, all the same things apply to obedience by all Catholics. While the nature of the obedience may be different for the laity, the expectation of giving up oneself to the requirements of God remains the same.
