Article: Cardinal: Stay-at-Home Moms Need to Be Paid
It is not only women who stay home to care for children or other family members -- men do as well. In the United States, we could do a much better job of allocating shared Social Security earnings to the stay at home parent; this recognizes their participation in household earnings and benefits them at retirement as well.
